This Cherry Cream Cake Is Absolutely Heavenly & Worth Every Bite

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 3 ounces cherry gelatin
  • 1-1/2 cups boiling water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Step-By-Step Directions

  1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Poke holes in cake; gradually pour gelatin over cake. Cool for 15 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread over cake.
  4. Top with the pie filling.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
