One of my favorite times of year when I was growing up in upstate New York was the fall. The sky seemed even bluer, the air crisper and the apples were everywhere. Every single community fall festival included dunking for apples, trying to bite a suspended apple cinnamon donut and taking home a jar of freshly made apple butter.

Thanks to this easy recipe, you can add a few sweet and savory ingredients along with the apple butter and enjoy a remarkable pork tenderloin any time of the year. And much like love and marriage or a horse and carriage, pork and apples simply just go together!
