Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Cake: This Is Just About The Easiest Dessert On The Planet!

Not only will this dessert become your new go-to baking choice, but it is also easy to make! The recipe originally serves about 4 people, but you can easily adjust the recipe to fit however many guests you will be hosting. Whether it's for a large dinner party, a family gathering, or even just a date night dinner for two, this recipe will fit every event!

Ingredients To Gather: 

  • 42 oz. cherry pie filling
  • 16.5 oz yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick of butter

Instructions To Follow:

  1. Open the two cans of cherry pie filling and dump the contents into a 3 to 5 quart slow cooker.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter (or melt on the stove top).
  3. In a medium mixing bowl add the dry yellow cake mix and the melted butter and stir to combine (mixture will be crumbly).
  4. Dump cake mix & butter mixture over the top of the cherry pie filling and spread evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours.
  6. Serve warm (with ice cream if desired) or cold.
