8 ounces brown sesame seeds
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more if needed
Salt, to taste.
The Step By Step Directions To Follow:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread sesame seeds on a parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet, bake, 6 minutes. Mix, respread seeds, return to oven 6 – 8 minutes more. Transfer seeds to separate bowl.
Add seeds to food processor, grind, 1 minute, drizzle in olive oil, continue to grind 1 – 2 minutes more, until paste forms. If mixture is too dry, add more olive oil, 1 teaspoon at a time. Season to taste. Transfer to mason jar, store in fridge up to one month.
