This Cake Really Takes Us Back…
We grew up indulging in Hostess snack cakes whenever we wanted a treat, either after lunch during a long, hard day at school, or for an afterschool reward after an intense day of learning. Even as adults we've continued to adore these sweet, tantalizing little snack cakes. That's why we were thrilled to discover this recipe for possibly the best sheet cake ever.
This sheet cake recipe uses Devil's Food cake, which has all of the flavor and richness of our favorite Hostess snack cakes. Then, top it off with frosting and ganache, and boy oh boy is this an indulgent treat!
This recipe also uses chocolate chips, heavy cream, and marshmallow fluff to create a mouthwatering confection that's almost too good to be true! This is the dessert we turn to when our sweet tooth is out of control or we have an overwhelming chocolate craving that an ordinary candy bar just won't satisfy.
