If You’ve Ever Struggled To Cook Your Bacon To Perfection, Then You Need To Read This!

When you cook bacon in the oven it comes out better and you can control the crispness better. Why put it on the skillet and have to clean your stove afterwards when you can easily do this?

Here Is What You Need To Do…

Directions To Follow:

Start by placing the package of bacon on a cutting board and then cutting the entire package in half right down the middle. Next, wrap up one half of the package of bacon and place it in the refrigerator and then place the slices from the remaining half on a bacon pan. Next, put the pan in the oven, but don't pre-heat it. Set the heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This method only works if you place the bacon in a cold oven, so that the bacon can cook slowly over low heat. The bacon is done when it's golden brown and crisp but not too crisp. This usually takes between 17 and 20 minutes, and you'll want to keep a close eye on the bacon during the last minute or so. Take the bacon out of the oven and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain it.

Finished!

We recommend saving the bacon fat you drained off and putting it in a heat-proof ramekin (this is a small, heat-proof dish) and then chilling it in the refrigerator so you can use it in another recipe. Use a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth to remove any bits of bacon. And what to do with all of this fabulous bacon you just cooked? We don't know about you, but a juicy BLT sandwich sounds divine to us!
