Dr. Pepper and a good BBQ Sauce just goes hand-in-hand. The sweetness of this bubbly drink and the taste of a good cut of pork or slice of chicken will work excellent.
This recipe may sound a little weird at first but its actually been used quite a few times. Dr. Pepper is made from Prunes; of course there is a break down process but the addition of this sweet fruit is in the flavor.
Prunes make a perfect marinade for Duck, Venison, Pork, Beef or Chicken because it is sweet and tangy.
You can either whip this sauce up and marinate your meat over night or you can just lather it on after you are done BBQ-ing your dinner.
You are going to love this perfect, rich combination!
