<p>Servings: 6</p>
<p>1 (2 pound) round steak, cut 1/2 Inch thick<br />Garlic salt<br />Salt<br />Pepper <br />1 onion, thinly sliced <br />3 to 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered (optional) <br />1 1/2 cups beef broth <br />1 can green beans, drained <br />1 can tomato soup <br />1 can tomatoes</p>
<p>Season round steak lightly with garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Cut into serving pieces and place in crockpot with sliced onion which has been separated into rings. Add potatoes and green beans. Top with tomato soup and tomatoes. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Remove cover during last half-hour if there is too much liquid.</p>

<p>2 pounds flank steak<br />2 tablespoons shortening<br />3 green bell peppers, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces<br />1 package onion soup mix<br />2 tablespoons soy sauce<br />1/2 cup sherry<br />2 tablespoons cornstarch<br />1/2 teaspoon salt<br />1/8 teaspoon pepper</p>
<p>Cut steak lengthwise into 1/2-inch strips and then into 1-inch pieces.</p>
<p>Melt shortening in skillet and fry steak just long enough for it to change color. Remove meat and saut? the green pepper. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Add onion soup mix and continue to boil for 10 minutes.</p>
<p>Stir in the meat and green pepper and simmer for 30 minutes.</p>
<p>Add the soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch (diluted in a little water), salt and pepper. Cook until slightly thickened. Serve over steamed rice.</p>
<p>Serves 4.</p>

<p>Trim fat from meat. Cut meat into 4 serving-size pieces.</p>

<p>Cut the meat in half lengthwise with a sharp knife (meat will slice better if slightly frozen), then crosswise into thin slices. Saute the meat, onions and pepper in hot oil in a skillet until the meat is brown. Stir in the remaining ingredients, except the rice. Cook for five minutes, stirring constantly. Serve over rice.</p>

<p>2 tenderloin steaks (1 1/2 inches thick)<br />2 tablespoons bourbon<br />2 tablespoons brown sugar<br />1/4 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper<br />Salt to taste</p>
<p>Combine bourbon, brown sugar and pepper; rub over steaks. Preheat grill.</p>
<p>Place steaks on grill and cook for 13 minutes (rare) to 17 minutes (medium), turning once. Season to taste with salt and serve.</p>
<p>Makes 2 servings.</p>
