Burger King is Really Upping Its Game!
Taco Bell is just all the rage right now, isn't it? It's where many of us go for a quick lunch when we're on the go or to satisfy our late night munchies. And the Tex-Mex chain has done a pretty good job of keeping up with the times and changing to meet its customer base and attract new diners. That's partly because of innovative menu offerings such as the Doritos Locos Taco, which was so successful it created 15,000 new jobs just during the first year.
Now Burger King is taking a cue from Taco Bell, and introducing its own off-the-wall offerings designed to lure in new customers. The international fast food chain is hinging its success on two new items: the Whopperito and and Mac ‘N Cheetos. The Whopperito is essentially a burger, in this case the chain's signature Whopper, converted to burrito form. Mac ‘N Cheetos is basically a giant Cheeto puff stuffed with mac and cheese. However, Burger King may be in for an unpleasant surprise it expects overnight success with the new items.
