Many of us want to eat healthy and are conscientious about choosing healthy options to some of our favorite junk foods and comfort foods. However, we recently came across a list that completely changes the way we look at some of the most popular so-called “health foods.”
In fact, some of the foods long promoted as healthy alternatives to candy bars, potato chips and other treats are actually no better for you than junk food and may have harmful aspects of their own, particularly added sugar along with plenty of calories.
Many of these foods are the first things people turn to when they're trying to lose weight, cut down on fat or just improve their overall diet, so it's disappointing to know how many health hazards they hold.
